GLC-LH-SM is not supported for the C9300-NM-4G
SMD is supported. However if it is SM then it is not supported as the compatibility Matrix
Please find the attached snapshot for the same. You can use any supported SFP's.

Can you confirm if the SFP model is GLC-LH-SM or GLC-LH-SMD?
Also provide the version which is running and the complete error which you are getting.

In the output you will not have the .bin file. Hence we can know about what version installed in the current package.conf.
With respect to MD5 in case if the MD5 is not same as the .bin file then it would have not installed the package...

Power off the switch and power on. Then press the mode button continuously.
It should go to the ROMMON and then we can recover using USB method.
In case if you are not able to go into ROMMON method, please share the session logs ...
