AS5350 and FEC ? (RTP packet loss)

Anyone know if the AS5350's currently support FEC (forward error control) ?

(a mechanism that "could" potentially help with RTP packet-loss)

If not, any talk of supporting this (on the radar/roadmap?

I can't find any info on the cisco site.

Hi,

if you are talking about the RFC 2733, then - NO, Cisco does not support it (AFAIK).

As far as I know, FEC is implemented merely in the iLBC codec.
