We have 2 5350 pstn gateways used for originating/terminating sip calls out to the telco. Internally, the gateways direct the sip calls to an enum database server via dns lookup. We had two name servers specified on both gw's. The primary dns server (on both gw's) crashed--yes we learned our lesson--specify different dns servers on each gw. But the issue: the gw's did not fall back and use the second name server as specified in their configs. FYI...both gw's are running 12.2(13)T
Any idea why?
