ATA-186

I would like to install a phone in the lobby and once a guest lifts the analog phone off hook, the phone rings the main number in the office, has anyone done this before, and with ATA-186?

Yes

I would say the easyest way is to use hotline function in the ATA.

Hotline is a a function use in your dialplan.

DialPlan |H

But with this solution its not possible to dial any number att all on the phone.

Because when you use the phone it will always call hotline number when the phone is offhock.
