If the mls qos trust device cisco-phone is configured can the auto qos voip cisco-phone?
This is the error message I am getting:
auto qos voip cisco-phone
policy map AutoQoS-Police-CiscoPhone not configured
AutoQoS Error: ciscophone input service policy was not properly applied
Warning: if upgrading from a previous release, and there is already auto qos voip cisco-phone configured on other interfaces, you may need to first delete those auto qos configurations and re-apply them on those interfaces.
policy map AutoQoS-Police-CiscoPhone not configured

Hello,
I found the following link:
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst3750/software/release/12-2_44_se/release/notes/OL14630.html
If the switch has interfaces with automatic QoS for voice over IP (VoIP) configured and you upgrade the switch software to Cisco IOS Release 12.2(40)SE (or later), when you enter the auto qos voip cisco-phone interface configuration command on another interface, you might see this message:
AutoQoS Error: ciscophone input service policy was not properly applied
policy map AutoQoS-Police-CiscoPhone not configured
If this happens, enter the no auto qos voip cisco-phone interface command on all interface with this configuration to delete it. Then enter the auto qos voip cisco-phone command on each of these interfaces to reapply the configuration.
Hope this Helps :)
Best Regards,
Zaid

just had this problem on a newer cisco 3560cx, and was able to work around by:
1. blow away all "auto qos" of same type on all applied interfaces on switch
2. re-apply the "auto qos" of desired type on 1 or more interfaces.
thx for the tip! didn't need TAC.
