CISCO IP PHONE SPA 525G failed to associate with SSID.

Cisco IP Phones SPA 525G were connected via WIFI and worked perfectly fine. But after changing the router, the phones can not connect to WIFI as they keep displaying "Failed to Associate with SSID, keep trying in the background". 

When we add the network, we set it to WPA2 PSK, Profile Name (auto), SSID (auto), Cipher type AES CCMP. It used to work with these settings. But now it won't connect. We have also tried WPA PSK, TKIP with a combination. 

The unusual thing is that we have also tried connecting it via ethernet cable and still can not get the phone to work. After resetting the device multiple times we have tried to add the network but are facing similar problems.

When we manually add a wireless connection we see a green bar at the top but the icon next to it has a red cross. However, the mute button is always red.

Can you please help?

Please help I am having the same issue the Cisco 525G is failing to associate with my ssid!

Did anyone figure this out? Perhaps the OP? I am stuck in a circle and want to pull my hair out!! This is the first time we haven't been able to get our phones connected. Please help!!
