Hi!
Does anyone have experience with modifying disconnect cause codes, when releasing unsuccessfull call from VoIP peer back to POTS peer? As far as I understand, 12.4 started supporting this feature.
What I would like to do is, to map a few most common errors (like "switching congestion", "destination out of order" and "interworking") into single - eg. "no circuit channel".
Thanks in advance,
Nikola

If you use ISDN connection to POTS side
under the Interface serial 1/0:23 [for example ] issue isdn disconnect-code 34
this will return a No channel available message

Yes, we use E1 ISDN-s to POTS side. I entered "isdn disconnect-cause 34" under all interfaces, but POTS side still received other disconn codes (for example: "destination out of order".
