VoIP GSM gateway

Hello

I have a swithced network and i want to create a VoIp gateway with our PSTN and GSM mobile service.

Clients need to be able to call to extern phone nombers via NetMeeting.

As i know for PSTN, i can use router Cisco 3620 and with module NM-2V + VIC2FXO.

What can i use to make also GSm voIP gateway?

Clients need to be able to make calls from Netmeeting to mobile phones via this gateway

Depends on what you are looking for - a GSM gateway equipped with analog or ISDN ports ?

Bear in mind - the GSM gateways usually do not support VoIP (H.323 / SIP / MGCP). You can make use of them by interconnecting them with voice gateways.

The best brand is Ecotel (a german company), though they are quite expensive. Another brand are StarGate (a.k.a Ateus / C2N). They are cheaper, work pretty well (with some minor problems).

We use VOIP (H.323 or SIP) enabled GSM gateways from the french vendor Quescom. They are a Cisco AVVID partner, and the integration with Cisco is quite straightforward.

Could you give me the full technical documentations about QuesCom 400 GSM gateway for ISDN PBX ?

Can i aloso use this gateway to forward VoIP traffic in the network?

So Outside clients have to make calls via ISDN to GSM numbers. also clients from the IP network also have to call via this gateway using VoIp.

P.S. On QuesCom i didn't find technical documentations, only FQA and brouches.

Hello,

Have you configured an Inter-Cluster Trunk pointing to the QuesCom 400 gateway or simply configured it as H.323 gateway?

Is it necessary to do any specific configuration to get the connection to the GSM network? I have installed a GSM provider SIM card in slot 0/0 but Quescom 400 does not see it. I have rebooted the GSM gateway - still does not see the SIM card but now I have problems with the web interface to it.
