hi

do any body know the following counter is and how does it affect the quality of the call.

Following is the output of show dial-peer voice

What is the noise counter in this. some times i see this counter as 0 and some time number like following.

The description of the noise field is as follows.

Active noise level for this call. This value is calculated in the comfort noise generation module and is used for generating comfort noise when voice activity detection (VAD) is enabled

It should have no bearing on the quality of the call as it is simply a measurement done by the Comfort noise generator to decide when to play comfort noise or not.
