CISCO SPA 504G Line keys

Hello,

I am trying to configure a CISCO SPA504G for the first time.

I am trying to configure the line keys.

In order to see if I could remove them, I disabled Line Key 2/3+4 under the phone tab, I then tried re adding them with $USER under the short name, however after submitting the changes these buttons aren't re appearing? Any idea how I can get these back?

Also, If I do manage to get Line 2 back, how can I change its name to Line 2, rather than it being the extension number?

Any help appreciated.

Assuming you have configured extensions (Ext1, Ext2, Ext3, Ext4) and you wish to assign Line Key N to Ext N configure phone as follows:

Line Key N:

    Extension: N

    Share Call Appearance: private

    Extended function: <leave empty>

    Short Name: <whatever you wish>
