I am a Public Safety systems integrator and am needing to know if the cisco 8851 will allow a specific function. I am attempting to integrate the 8851 into a THRI port on a Zetron Max D system. The Zetron system in order to engage the THRI port looks for one of 2 things. It either has a deadicated Off Hook relay which tells the box the phone is off hook or it senses voltage on the Microphone. I have done some checking and found it appears that the Mic from either the handset or the headset has a constant 2.2v aka DC Bias. Is there a way i could get that voltage to toggle on and off with either the handset or the headset buttons or is there a way i could program the AUX port in the back to trigger some sort of voltage when the phone is off hook? Any help would be wonderful
