Re: False busy?

We have a client with a UC-520 and 20 or so 524S phones. One extension, 218, shows busy when it's not. I swapped phones with a new one and it still happens. I have attached a debug log I created but I cannot see anything odd about this one phone.It's just annoying right now but I am very curious about what could be causing this.

Hi Danny,

Silly questions but have you tried to upgrade the phone load? If I am not mistaken previously other users reported the issues resolved with a phone load upgrade, however you could be already on the latest and this issue still happening.

What is the current load for the phones?

What is your current CME IOS?

Latest phone loads and IOS 12.4. This extension has had this problem for almost a year now. Have upgraded the software a couple of times. I haven't tried switching ports yet or changing extension numbers but everything else is new.

Hi Danny,

Can i suggest that firstly you use the latest Software Pack (8.0.2) Which will put the system on CME version 8 and IOS 15.0.1 (Some minor bugs in 15.0.1 but not detrimental).

This is always a good start to work from, use CCA to do the upgrade as it will restructure the Flash card and the tfttp-server commands, this is essential as it cleans everything up.
