I've been trying and trying to create a custom ringtone for my Cisco 303SPA but I haven't been able to!
According to this FAQ the Cisco 303SPA ringtone format is G.726-32, and Ring Tone Suffix is .726. However when I try to create the ringtone, it doesn't seem to download into my cisco phone. I've used a converter to convert my MP3 into G726 format at 8 kHz Frequency and 4 bits per sample. Then I rename the .g726 file extension to .726. I try to upload the ringtone by visiting the URL: http://phoneip/ringtone2?http://mysite/ringtone.726, and it shows me the updating page, but when I visit my phone to change the ringtone it syas User tone 1 (Not installed). I'm all out of ideas. Does anybody have any experience on getting this to work?
