I went to command line

config

voice-port 0/2/0

description Metro

when I show running config the change is there but not showing up on the sets? What am I doing wrong?

did look just like this.

voice-port 0/2/0
connection plar opx 3A10
description Configured by CCA CO Line - 0/1/0-CO0
caller-id enable

Now looks like this, but the display on the phones still show "CO Line"

voice-port 0/2/0
connection plar opx 3A14
description Metro
caller-id enable

Terry,

Do not modify the "voice-port" for the CO-Line.  This will not effect the label shown on the phone.

You will need to find the "ephone-dn" for the CO-Line.  Will look something like this:

ephone-dn  588

  number 3A10 no-reg primary

  lable CO Line 1

  trunk A0 monitor-port 0/1/0

If you want to change the label on the phone, modify the "label" for that "ephone-dn"..
