Mute Button of CISCO IP Phone is Blinking

Hello,

Can you help me how to close or disable the mute button on the phone because it's in red color and I can't make an outgoing calls.

Thank you for using the Cisco Small Business forums! My name is Kevin, I am an eContent developer and I am part of the Small Business Support Community. Can you tell me what type of IP phone you are using? Depending on the IP phone you have, it sometimes indicate that your cable was not attached properly. It may also indicate that the phone has no network connectivity so I would check with your cable and make sure everything is plugged in the correct port.
