PSK's Containing Pound (#) Key

We are trying to set up programmable soft keys to perform 2 functions on active calls on a SPA-508G.  I have the buttons showing up correctly during an active call, but using the PSK just hangs up the phone and disconnects the caller.

Example:  Our system uses #3 to transfer the active call to another extension's voicemail. (ie. #3, wait for prompt and dial 2001 to transfer call to 2001's VM).  I created a PSK containing the following:

fnc=sd;ext=#3@$PROXY;nme=snd2vm

I have tried wrapping the #3 in '#3' and "#3" to no avail.  I have also tried removing the @PROXY since it's not actually dialing an extension, but just sending DTMF.

I cannot figure out what the problem is.  I can dial #3 manually during an active call and it works fine, but we want to be able to have this functionality via a PSK.

Thanks,

Sean

The # key is normally used for terminating a number entry.

I believe 3# would work but not #3 in that softkey.

Do you have a log file of this?

Utility for generating log is at https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-9862
