I'm currently working on a project for my boss trying to get the dial plan nailed down for the SPA112. We are planning on running analog devices (phones, cc verify machine, fax) for customers off of our PBX. Essentially making those devices extensions within our system.
My issue is this: We want the phone to be able to only dial out (and not intercom within our system) and dial 911. The problem is that I can only seem to get it to automatically dial 9 to get an outside line (via SIP) or be able to dial 911, but not both.
( 1 xxx xxx xxxx | <:9> xxx xxx xxxx ) This gets the outside line after 10 digits are dialed, but I can't dial 911.
Any help or insight would be helpful.
Thanks,
Alex

We want the phone to be able to only dial out (and not intercom within our system)
Please specify target location you believe to be reachable in the terms of number formats instead of just vague names like "out" and "intercom within our system".
( 1 xxx xxx xxxx | <:9> xxx xxx xxxx )
It allow you to dial
No other patterns, thus no other numbers are allowed. Including 911. You need to add pattern for it if you wish to be callable.
