I enabled https under the web interface setting today and now no browser old or new can connect to it in order to configure it.
WTF? Ive done numerous resets via the red reset button but this POS still wont work.

How can I obtain the firmware version if I cannot connect to it? Bottom of the device lists PID VID as SPA112 V02

It's the last firmware version you burned inside.
If we have no idea then we can assume it's somewhat very old. Unfortunately, it's not possible to connect HTTPS from recent browsers to so old SPA112 firmware as recent browsers allow TLS1.2 only but SPA112 know older versions of SSL only. Try to connect from an ancient browsers, if you have Windows XP somewhere. Or reconfigure your's current browser to accept SSL3.0 variant of SSL.
