My Cisco IP phone defaults to factory set time at each provisioning reset requiring me to manually reset time to current. How do I change settings to avoid this? I can't find a configuration setting for this.
edit: actually, it appears that the time reset was associated with power interruptions, not SIP provisioning.

I made an uninformed change: I went to
Optional Network Configuration:
DNS Server Order- DHCP, Manual (originally was Manual)
Primary NTP Server: time.windows.com (originally was blank)
... and hit submit. I will not know if this made my correction or not until another power interruption, but the time continues to show correctly, so nothing bad has happened (I hope).
