SPA525g Missing SoftKeys

After upgrading my UC520 to software pack 8.1.0 my SPA525g only has the black boxes at the bottom of the screen. No letters/words.

Any Ideas?

Hi Ian,

Are you sure you are running FW v7.4.6 and not 7.4.7 on the SPA phones? To my knowledge UC500 Software Pack v8.1(0) comes with 7.4.7...

Anyway if you haven't yet tried to factory reset the phone than please do so.

Another thing you can try is to re-generate the XML configuration files for IP phones in CLI:

enable

configure terminal

telephony-service

create cnf-files

It did have 7.4.7 but that didnt work so I went back to 7.4.6.

I did make new cfg files, and I did factory reset the phone using the speaker button at startup.
