I have a situation where I'm running firmware version 7.5.3 and need to change from an "Asterisk" Server Type to a "RFC3265_4235" per the PBX manufacturer's recommendation. The PBX manufacturer is not supporting firmware version 7.5.4 and cannot upgrade to it yet. However there is an issue listed as being resolved in version 7.5.4 with the RFC3265_4235 server type and so I'm assuming this issue exists in 7.5.3.
Please see below from 7.5.4 release notes:
Resolved issues, release note identifier - CSCua56258
When a line key on the phone is programmed as a busy
lamp field, and there is a mismatch between the subscribed
URI and the speed dial extension URI, the phone does not
respond to NOTIFY messages to change the LED status.
This occurs when the server type is set to RFC3265_4235.
I'm hoping to get a better idea of what exactly the "subscribed URI" and the "speed dial extension URI" are, so that I can determine if they're mismatched and if I will be introducing a problem when changing server types.
Thank you -
