So in the last week I committed to the SPA504G (7.5.5), and installed a number of these phones sucessfully working to an Asterisk based IP-PBX.
Just finished an LDAP Server installation (OpenLDAP), and can know have my SPA504G's lauch LDAP Queries, retrieve caller information and complete outgoing calls and all is good.
BUT, It seems these phones do not have the ability to launch an LDAP Query on an incoming call using the CLI to retrieve caller information!
This seems quite annoying as I know SNOM IP phones as well as numerous others can definately can do this.
If this is true then please Cisco can you make it a feature for an upcoming software release, it really can't be that difficult can it?
If I am wrong then please let me know.
