SPA8000 loses sytem time on a cold reboot?

My newly acquired SPA8000 loses  the newly updated system time if I shutdown the unit  by removing power. It resorts back to 2003 12:00.

is this normal? seems bazaar that I have to update the system time under regional tab.

Also is there a way of backing up configuration. It would be laborious to have to manually re enter data for all 8 ports.

Whats the rationale about having the option to change nat mapping on ports 1 and 2 but have it forcibly enabled for ports 3-8?

To avoid this problem, please use the ntp server parameter and the Time Zone parameter in conjunction with it.  You can also set the daylight saving rule as well.
