SPA9000 behind firewall, no inbound voice on incoming calls

Hi,

the situation is now stable here, outbound calls are working properly, audio in both ways, ....

However, on inbound calls I cannot hear the caller. I did not fill any nat parameters when I used the wizard to re-configure

the device.

I attached the log. I am not yet able to analyze the SIP traces and I am wondering what I need to turn on to fix this.

I suspect than some internal address leaks to the provider.

The SP9000 is behind a firewall. Poerts 5060-5063, RTP ports and 6060-6063 are redirected to the SPA9000.

We use voip ms as a provider.

Thank you,

Luc

Does your provider use an ALG?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Application-level_gateway

If they do, enter the domain name or IP address of that into the outbound proxy parameter.

If not, see if your router has a SIP ALG option.

If none of the above is avail, you can try a pubilc STUN server and populate those settings in the spa9000.

Or use the Ext IP parameter which is also located in teh NAT support parameters.  If you do it this way, you'll also have to check and modify the VIA options as well.

Hi,

I found it, in the router we had ALG and RTSP on, bad idea. I disabled RTSP and now it's perfect.

Thank you,

Luc
