UC320 and voipuser.org

Hi all, a bit of a specific question, but has anyone managed to succesfully get their UC320 making outbound calls with a SIP trunk to the voipuser.org service?

It's a UK provider and i've got the incoming bit sorted no worries (going to Status on the UC320 shows the SIP trunk as green and "registered"), I'm sure there's something up with my external dial plan but can't seem to figure out what's up. Here's a brief rundown of the setup, not too sure what to include here and what not:

- Region: UK

- Dial plan: Local calls are 6 digits

- Default area code: (I picked the area I was wanting to call, as it won't let me put the 0844 number that I've been assigned as the incoming number).

I've tried as many different SIP trunk options as I can, so far it's set as:

- proxy, outbound proxy, require registration, Account ID, password: All set as per the setup instructions from the voipuser.org page.

- SRV record lookup and SRV Auto prefix: both unchecked (default?)

- NAT mapping: ON

- Send NAT keepalive: ON

I've also tried it with a NAT STUN Server as per the voipuser.org instructions, but I'm currently using the "Static IP address for Site" option with my external IP address entered.

Just for fun I also tried without NAT enabled and it's still getting nowhere with the outbound calls. I was thinking it was that the calls were not getting back to the UC320, but that's not the case as I've succesfully dialled the 0844 number from Skype and that's connecting fine.

When I do try and dial a UK number the phone (SPA504G) just displays "Invalid number" when I don't include the Area code, and "Temporarily not available" when I do include the full area code.

One interesting thing though: When I dial the area code plus the required 6-digit number, the phone sits as though it's waiting for more numbers to be dialled, despite me telling it that phone numbers are 6 digits long.

Any ideas? Apologies for the long post but I've tried to include as much info as possible.

cheers

Steve
