Hi
Since April 2010, we have been using a Cisco UC520, and for the last week or two, the cooling fan has intermittently gone into very high speed (and noisy) for no apparent reason. Some days it can do this a few times within a short time frame, and other days it does not do it at all.
We are currently in autumn (fall) and the room temperature is approximately 20 degrees Celsius which is about 68 degrees Fahrenheit. So it is not hot and the room environment has not changed.
The UC520 is connected to a UPS power supply. The UC520 is started every morning and shutdown every evening via the UPS power on/off switch (since 2010).
Any ideas why the fan speed increases intermittently and what I can do to resolve the issue?
Thanks.
