We are using a Cisco IP Phone SPA525G. We have two of these phones one is in our office and one is in my apartment, both with the same number. The phone was working yesterday Now they are both down, When the phone is working all the buttons on the phone are green, now they are all red. When the phone is working we hear the dial tone right away. Under the Network configurations on the phone the IP address is blank as well, as the Subnet Mask. The phone seems to think it is 5:22 PM on December 31st. We have already tried to reset the phone by unplugging it, but it did not help.  I called my service provide and they told me this " I show your sip registration is currently offline.  You will want to check your device for any connection issues"   Our phone is plugged in to the Ethernet and it recognizes that its plugged in. It tells me the Network status is connected and the IP status is Ok  and it has an IP address in the phone

Your phone needs to be properly configured. It need to have IP address assigned, it need to have network connectivity to SIP PBX, you need to have PBX name and password configured.

Who has configured your phone for the first time ? You should ask them for help as he know the local requirements.

You should visit phone's local WWW UI. It's status page may reveal valuable informations to you.
