What barcode format is used on boxes from Cisco? 

I'm not looking to find a device I need to know if it's UPC CODE or EAN CODE or anything else from a long list of possible type. 

I found multiple posts but they are old and could not find the answer.

Using scanner app for android scanning a box of Cisco Nexus 5548P Fan Module

most codes including part and serial #s are using code 128 on this fan module.

Other equipement scanned also included UPC-A and Code 39.

Trying APP from scandit.com. This is the first of 5 software tested that can handle all bar codes + output of the scan can be into anything as they offer a keyboard app that loads the output as keyboards input into anything. 

Not sure Android app is the best solution but it was a good start to find what codes are used on Cisco boxes. 

Any inputs would be welcome.
