I have just installed a SPA525G2 (firmware 7.4.5 / hardware version 2.0.0) and Im unable to upgrade the firmware. I have tried using both the web interface and using upgrade rule (tftp) using v7.4.6, v7.4.7 and v7.4.8. The web interface reports upgrade succesfull but the phone remains at the factory firmware level (v,7.4.5).
Help is much appreciated

Hi Cato,
The SPA525G2 hardware version 2 needs at least 7.4.7.
It will provide an error message if you attempt to install 7.4.5.
Do the following to upgrade:
1. Factory reset the phone
2. Use any method to upgrade to 7.4.7 or newer.
3. If the above fails, follow these steps:

Thank you, flashing with the P01 (7.5.1) Image worked perfectly and I was able to flash with 7.4.8
But Im puzzled by the fact that a hardware version 2 SPA525 is delivered with 7.4.5 if it requires 7.4.7 or above to function properly?
Best regards,
Cato
