Hi,
I am a programmer working in Los Angeles, CA. my company allowed me to work through VPN while i am in india for sometime but now they say there could be legal issues of using VPN outside the united states of America.my company uses licensed version of Cisco VPN. i would like to know is there any restriction to use VPN outside the country where the company exists.can you please respond to me as soon as possible as i need to start working.can you guys respond me on this Email :ksunkari@healthbenchmarks.com

This depends on the ISP that are providign servive. Contact the ISP that are dealing within your Networks

There may also be issues on use of certain types of encryption outside of the US.

I have personally seen a lot of users working from India using Cisco VPN Client. But again, this depends on the Company's Licensing agreement, export policy agreement, contract, etc.
Since, the crypto export policy is very very strict, you dont want to take any chances.
