Does ACS 5.8 support the 4.x Anyconnect client? Support for 3.0 and 3.1 Anyconnect client as an 801.1x client is documented but does not say that for VPN remote access. This is what is in the documentation -
Supported VPN Clients
ACS 5.8 supports the following VPN clients:
- Cisco VPN Client 5.0 Series
- Cisco Clientless SSL VPN (WEBVPN)
- Cisco AnyConnect VPN client 2.3 Series
- MS VPN client
Supported 802.1X Clients
ACS 5.8 supports all 802.1X clients. These include, but are not limited to:
■Cisco AnyConnect 3.0
■Cisco AnyConnect 3.1
3.x works in production as a VPN client so I suspect 2.3 only is wrong. I need to know if 4.x is definitely not supported, will never be supported and whether ISE must be used.
