Activation key licensing problem with asa5505

My ASA5505 VPN-3DES-AES has been disabled, reentered the activation key and it complains that its the same key as is in the flash however when I do a show ver it states that it is invalid even though it contradicts itself in saying that the it is the same? Any ideas? Thanks in advance -Steve Here is a cut & paste when I enter the key: Validating activation key. This may take a few minutes... The requested key is the SAME as the flash permanent activation-key. The flash activation key will not be modified.

I will try running a k9 image before thinking this is a licensing issue. (you are currently running asa841-k8.bin)
