I an deploying AnyConnect 3.0 on Windows Vista.
The registry key : C:\Program Files\Cisco\Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client\vpnui.exe -minimized is set in the registry for automatically
start the VPN Client when Windows Start.
I would like to Stop this automatic startup, but when i Erase the Registry key, it is automatically refilled by the vpnagent for startup.
Does anyone knows how to stop automatic startup of the client ?
I don't use SBL (Start Before Logon), it is disabled in the profile file.

Hi,
It looks like this is how Anyconnect 3.0 works as far as the previous versions are concerned.
There is already a enhancement request opened for it, its still in waiting state. The following is the link:-
I hope it helps.
Thanks,
Shilpa

Hi, thanks for your answer.
that's exactly my problem, but there is no workaround.
Il found one:
Juste rename vpnui.exe (in c:\program file\cisco\cisco mobility client) as vpn.exe
and the client wil no more start (but the registry key is still there), with no errors.
A simple shortcut to vpn.exe let you start the client when you want.
