AnyConnect 3.X clients with the new AnyConnect 4 Plus License installed

The customer has a lot of endpoints to upgrade to the new 4.X client for Mac and Windows. During this period of migration they are wanting to know if there are any known issues with using the 3.X client with the new AnyConnect 4 Plus licensing model?

I haven't seen any. Only when they put the new images (pkg files) on the headend would a client be forced to upgrade.

Of course, until they do, no new 4.x-specific features will be available to them, so they should not yet go ahead and do things like restrict ciphers to elliptic curve only or something like that.
