Having issues getting my any connect to establish a VPN. I am running version 4.2.06014. When attempting to connect the message history shows:

I have tried newer and older versions of anyconnect, I have also tried a lot of fixes specified on the internet and cisco. Like making changes to registry settings, repairing databases etc.

From windows logs I can see some of the following errors:

Hi davidgray891,

In this case an adapter issue could be caused from many different reasons:

-Antivirus or Firewall not letting the AnyConnect initiate properly.

-3rd party applications conflicting with the AnyConnect.

So the following link includes the steps to troubleshoot the VPN Client Driver Encounters Error:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/security/asa-5500-x-series-next-generation-firewalls/100597-technote-anyconnect-00.html#anc14

This link includes the information about some of the known 3rd party applications that conflict with the AnyConnect and some other information about the adapter issues:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/vpn_client/anyconnect/anyconnect42/administration/guide/b_AnyConnect_Administrator_Guide_4-2/troubleshoot-anyconnect.html

From my expirience i will try removing any antivirus or 3rd vpn application from the computer, if this is not working i will try a re-image on the computer since this could even be a registry corruption.

Hope this info helps!!
