AnyConnect connection error

Cisco Freak

Hello All,

I am getting 'No assigned address' error while trying to setup a new AnyConnect config. Here is the relevant configs and outputs:

ip local pool VPN_POOL 10.x.x.x-10.x.x.x mask 255.255.255.0

tunnel-group AnyConnect type remote-access
tunnel-group AnyConnect general-attributes
 address-pool VPN_POOL
 default-group-policy GroupPolicy_AnyConnect
tunnel-group AnyConnect webvpn-attributes
 group-alias AnyConnect enable

FW# sh ip local pool VPN_POOL
Begin End Mask Free Held In use
x.x.x.2 x.x.x.30 255.255.255.0 29 0 0

Here is the error message that I am getting while trying to establish the connection. I do have free IPs in the local pool to assign to clients

I enabled the 'webvpn  anyconnect' debug and tried to connect and this is what the debugs looks like:

webvpn_cstp_parse_request_field()
...input: 'X-CSTP-Protocol: Copyright (c) 2004 Cisco Systems, Inc.'
Processing CSTP header line: 'X-CSTP-Protocol: Copyright (c) 2004 Cisco Systems, Inc.'
CSTP state = WAIT_FOR_ADDRESS
webvpn_cstp_addr_callback: Session=0x00089000, IPv4 0.0.0.0 returned. webvpn_cstp_ipv6_addr_callback: IPv6 callback entered. webvpn_cstp_ipv6_addr_callback: Session=0x00089000, no IPv6 address returned. webvpn_cstp_accept_address: 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0 webvpn_cstp_accept_ipv6_address: No IPv6 Address CSTP state = HAVE_ADDRESS No assigned address webvpn_cstp_send_error: 503 Service Unavailable CSTP state = ERROR Not calling vpn_remove_uauth: not IPv4! webvpn_svc_np_tear_down: no IPv6 ACL

Has anyone seen this error message before?  Any idea how can I resolve this?

We need more information here before we come to understand what is wrong :

device model and version of code running and what version of any connect?

similar kind bug found here : (is this something related to your setup ?)
