Hi all,
After enabling Anyconnect essentials (clientless disable), can I still accessing my internal resources using HTTPS? ( i.e https://host1.company.com - using anyconnect client with anyconnect essentials enabled).
Thanks,

No, not at all!
With AnyConnect you use your locally installed client to get a transparent access to your internal ressources. With the Clientless Portal the ASA is a proxy for all your requests.
Both have different use-cases. For your company-managed PCs normally the AnyCOnnect-client is used. Clientless is used if you want to connect from an unmanaged PC where you can't or don't want to install a client for transparent access.
For example you are in the jungle and want to access some ressources from a local internet cafe. Then you would use clientless-VPNs. But if you find a hotspot and have your laptop with you, you take the AnyConnect client.

Yes, that will still work (using the AnyConnect-Client is the main purpose of the Essentials-License). But you can't use the clientless VPN with the Portal-Page any more.

Hi Karsten,
So, I can say that the difference between the clientless and client-based is the vpn establishment.
After the tunnel get established (either by anyconnect-client or clientless), both will do the same thing!!
Thanks,
