AnyConnect licensing at the ASA 5510

I've got a client with an ASA 5510 that is now interested in utilizing the AnyConnect VPN client.  In acquiring licensing, they were quoted by a third party the AnyConnect Plus licensing.  Research shows that this only applies to the Secure Mobility 4.x client, which is only supported on the x-series (5512-X, 5515-X, etc.), and not on something like the 5510.  So... by association, I would assume this means that the Plus licensing is not applicable to the 5510 platform.

Can anyone verify this type of information?

What reference tells you that AnyConnect 4.x is only supported on the 5500-X series?

The following AnyConnect 4.1 document states otherwise:

...as it show many features are compatible with ASA software as old as 8.0. (Note X series hardware support was only introduced as of ASA software 8.6(1).)

There are some newer features that won't be supported on the older hardware as the non-X-series is only supported up through ASA software 9.2
