AnyConnect Licensing?

I have been reading through all sorts of posts about this but can't seem to find a good answer to my questions.

We have bought the ASA 5520 with VPN Plus License. Right now I am able to use AnyConnect with CSD for the 2 allowed connection. If I buy the AnyConnect Essentials License will I be able to use AnyConnect and CSD with the 750 VPN sessions allowed by that license?

Hi Cory,

This is what the AnyConnect Essentials license will give you:

• Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility client connectivity without clientless SSL VPN and Cisco Secure Desktop capabilities.

• Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility capabilities when used in conjunction with a licensed Cisco IronPort Web Security Appliance.

• Full tunneling access to enterprise applications.

• Single license per device type.

So, I think the answer is that it will provide you with the 750 User connection for SSL AnyConnect, but no CSD or clientless connections.
