I have an ASA 5505 that I'm testing with. Running ASA 9.13, CSD 3.6.6249 and Anyconnect client 3.1.04072. I have the ASA configured to do a simple file check on the client computer using CSD.
When I connect to the ASA from a computer with no Anyconnect client installed, I see the firewall attempt to download the client for install. What happens is the download fails in validating the computer even though the correct file is in place to satisfy the file check. If I have a client already installed, the computer connects to VPN just fine. It's only when I attempt to download the client to a clean PC that I have the problem.
If I disable the file check and CSD, the download failure still occurs, however I am prompted to perform a manual download which works fine. What could be causing the validation failure on a clean computer?
