Anyconnect VPN extremely slow with Zen UK &Fritz Box 7530

Hi,

I know very little about VPN's

My Daughter is staying with me & struggling to get any sort of speed through my broadband.

Any other PC on my network gets 70Mbps + down & 11Mbps up. FTTC & those speeds a 100% reliable.

She works for a big company & a v.fast windows PC.

I know nothing of how Anyconnect works but this is what comes up whilst connecting.

Is does work from any location without having to make any changes or her company adjusting any settings so not sure if this is a VPN as how I would understand.

It does connect reliably, so that is not a problem but so slow, unuseable & is when it comes to video or large files take forever.

Speed tests on her system say 1-2 Mbps down & 0.1-0.3 up.

My PC plugged into the same ethernet or Wifi shows 70+ down & 11+ up.

I know there is a big overhead but this surely is excessive.

Oddly seems slightly better on wifi but might be coincidence.

Zen UK say nothing at their end, no throttling & that they do not hear of others having problems with VPN's.

It works a lot better at her boyfriends house on Virgin, this will be cable so I think 150mbp+ is expected but cannot image 70mb+ is too slow. Perhaps the virgin modem is better at this.

Is there any settings I can put in the fritz box, I have nothing at the moment but again no settings were required for Virgin.

I cannot really ask the company to make adjustments as guess may effect if she works elsewhere.

I do have a simple VPN set up for my phones to connect so do have these in the Fritz Box 7530 & a VPN installed on my phone. "IPSec" or "IPSec Xauth PSK"

I just copied some instructions & it just works. I use for connecting a CCTV system & can view multiple cameras so is a really fast connection but this has matching settings/keys in the modem & phones so assume working in a different way.

Anyconnect I guess works in a different way & no settings in the modem.

Many thanks I/A and sorry for long rather vague question.
