Dear support,
We have a project to implement VPN connection to our internal network for our laptops.(windows 7 Enterprise, with domain integration),
However, we are facing an issue with anyconnect agent when the VPN is up via the Wifi Network card (Intel(R) Wireless-N 7265, up to date with the driver).
When the VPN is up, the Wireless NIC is being automatically disabled. We can see that the "Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client Connection" adapter is being turned on. Once done, after few second, the Wifi adapter automatically turns off and it impacts of course the VPN, which has no more internet connectivity.
We have checked on the internet what could be the issue. It seems that the adapter used by AnyConnect is detected has a Wired cable.
Then WiFi NIC is disabled. To try to find a solution, here are the steps already done:
- We went to the WiFi NIC properties to disable in the Power management tab the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power". No Result.
- We checked in the "Intel PROSet/Wireless administrator tool" that the option "Adapter Switching" is not enabled. No Result.
- We checked if Windows 7 GPOs were associated, but without any result.
The laptop is a Fujitsu Lifebook U 745.
Do you have any idea why our WiFi Card is automatically being disabled on our Windows 7 Laptop? It's been two days now that we are blocked with that issue and we are really missing new ideas..
NB:
If we try with a WinToGo USB Stick with Windows 10 booted on the same laptop, that issue is not appearing when we open the VPN over WiFi. So the VPN setup seems to be fine.
Thanks a lot for your support.

So you are saying that the issue is not present on Windows 10?
Which version of AnyConnect are you using?
Are you using AnyConnect profiles?
Do you have any other modules loaded with AnyConnect? (such as NAM, AMP, etc.)

Hi,
Can you install DART on the client machine, run diagnostics after you try to connect and share it with us.
