Check out the following steps :

Step 1 : Delete a file on a Flash device.

delete [[m/]device:]filename

Step 2 : If desired, permanently remove all deleted files on the Flash device (this operation can take a number of minutes to complete).

squeeze [m/]device:

Step 3 : Verify the files are deleted.

dir [[m/]device:][filename]

Else try the command - erase flash - for Erasing deleted and invalid files from flash

Dear b.hsu

When I am trying with /m it is not recognising the file at all as its a invalid checksum file.

routerI#delete m/

Delete filename [m/]? c5300-i-mz.120-7.T

Delete flash:c5300-i-mz.120-7.T? [confirm]

%Error deleting flash:c5300-i-mz.120-7.T (No such file or directory)

When I give erase flash: it is asking for erasing entire flash which I don't want.
