We are having an issue with our WinXP Professional 2002 SP1 clients who are connecting to our internal LAN via two AS5300 RAS servers in which they are not showing up in Network Neighborhood (domain browse list). Upon running the MS reskit-tool browstat.exe it states that 'Browsing is Active on Domain', but the 'Master Name cannot be determined from GetAdapterStatus'. The respective client can authenticate with our NT4 PDC/BDC, ping and map drives. Any thoughts?????

I think this problem is relevant to Windows Xp , check with the Windows administration guide.

All XP systems seem to be configured as per Microsoft standards. The only thing that we do not have standard is the Cisco RAS appliance. Generally, Microsoft RAS servers interfaces between the internal LAN and RAS clients, in turn being the master browser for the respective subnet which will manage the browser listing from the PDC. How does the Cisco RAS appliance replicate this functionality????
