Hi, I recently received a ASA 5505, and I have spent weeks to figure out how to set up a VPN on it.
After some days, I finally found the solution to connect to my ASA with a VPN client, yet and cannot acces the devices that are connected to the ASA.

Hi
I'm reading your post quickly through my mobile phone. I don't know why you've past your config twice. Maybe a typo issue.
I see the nonat acl in the wrong way. I mean 192.168.254 is your VPN pool and 192.168.1.0 your local LAN.
The acl should be:
access-list nonat-in extended permit ip 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.254.0 255.255.255.0
For the nat (inside) you have 2 lines:
nat (inside) 1 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 ==> It's redundant as the 1 below is doing the same thing in taking more networks if there are in the inside side. You can remove.
nat (inside) 1 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0
Why are you doing this nat (oustide)?
nat (outside) 1 192.168.254.0 255.255.255.0
These are the first issues I've seen by reading thru my mobile. Let's change that and let me know. I will have a look later with a computer (this evening or tomorrow)
