Hello experts!
I'm looking forward for information about licensing Active/Standby and according to this link http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/products/ps6120/prod_models_comparison.html I need to consider the Security Plus license, BUT, according to this link: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/asa/asa82/configuration/guide/ha_active_standby.html#wp1046838
states that Base License is needed to achieve A/S HA configuration on ASA 8.2.
ASA's current version: 8.0.
Do I need to upgrade to 8.2(x) in order to enable A/S HA configuration or is mandatory to buy that Security Plus license?
Thank you in advance for your valuable help!!

If you upgrade to 8.2(x), you can run A/S HA without the security plus license.
If you stay with 8.0(x), then you must have Security Plus.
With a 5505, you must always have Security Plus for A/S HA.
Please rate if that helps.
Thanks,
Tim

Thank you for your help Tim! just to remember that if less tahn 20% of memory is available, you'll need to upgrade form 256 to 512MB RAM in order to be able to install the new version!
