We use ASA5520 for VPN remote access and VPN IPs are handed out by a Windows DHCP server. I have noticed that when users connect through the VPN, they get a very long Unique ID. However when they take the same laptop in the office, I see their Ethernet MAC as the Unique ID in DHCP server. It seems ASA is sending the Unique ID, below is an example. Is there a way to have the ASA send the users ethernet or VPN adapter MAC?
