ASA to work with VPN (L2TP/IPSec)

jbm

Level 1

Hi everyone :o)

First of all I'm not an expert. I'm trying to get my ASA to work with VPN (L2TP/IPSec) from a Windows10 PC.

I can connect to the ASA without any faults, but I don't get the gateway from ASA when I connect in my lan stasus.

I starded with the default conf from the ASA and with the VPN  IPSec wizards from ASDM, but i cant access the ASA local ip when im connected trough VPN.

My finaly goal is following.

I can connect to my home ASA5505 with the standart windows10 client.

I want to be able to connect to any device on my home network 10.199.4.0/24.

when i connect to trough vpn my internet usage like surfing on webpages i don't want to go trough my ASA only the lan connection.

I think im close to that but need sone help with the last things, hope someone are willing to help and give me some advise.

Jesper

If is tremendously easier to use Cisco AnyConnect. Could you use that instead?
