ASA VPN File backups

Hi,

We have an 5520 ASA and are using it for SSL, IPsec Client and Anyconnect VPN connectivity. We use Prime and Solarwinds to backup this device but only beleive it backs up the running configuration.

1. What files should we be backing up?

2. Where is the VPN configuration stored for the various VPN, i.e XML files etc

3. does Prime back these up?

Any comments would be appreciated.

Hi Dan ,

I am not sure if Prime backs it up or not but the XML profiles are stored under flash

it would rather be better if you use backup and restore feature of ASDM

We have also found out we can possibly do a custom device template and back this up using Solarwinds as well.
