ASA5510 Migration from SonicWall NSA 2400 VPN/GW Router

Hi,

I will need to migrate 1x SonicWall NSA 2400 VPN/GW Router to 2x ASA5510 (need SSL-VPN, Intrusion Detection/Prevention, like Virus, Malware protection) behind 2x 2921 Cisco ISR Routers. This is office relocation and network redesign.

Any suggestions or comments? This is much appreciated.

BTW:

1. Any difference between ASA5510 and ASA5520?
2. Will it be a good idea to use Juniper VPN box instead of ASA5510/20?

BTW: There is a heavy support of MAC PCs going through ASA5510. Will this be a big problem for ASA5510? Also, we need clientless SSL-VPN or Web VPN. Thanks.

Hi Dengming,

Check out the data sheets for Cisco ASA 5510 and 5520. You will find all the device specifications and there is a feature for comparing devices as well.

Thanks Nash. Both 5510 and 5520 meet my requirements. BTW: What is VPN clustering. Any suggestions for the new 5510 setup and migration from SonicWall NSA 2400?
